Interesting. While I agree that folks on 'the system' shouldn't be able to even afford maryjane or anything else drug-wise, they'll still do it anyway. I honestly believe that not legalizing just allows allows them to generate money by incarcerating people...mainly blacks according to the link at the bottom. See, this is the problem. Maryjane doesn't cause guys to go out an do crazy, off the wall and random stuff. It just makes them very hungry, quiet, slow to respond, takes them to 'happy land', and they go to sleep. No fighting or any of that.

Alcohol, on the other hand, does just the opposite...and there's free access to that. Never been high in my life...but, the second Perry legalizes it, I'm gonna do some puffin'!!! Puff puff...give! Puff puff... give!!

I don't believe that's the intent of the bill. But their goes neighborhood on opinionated subjects. Reach back and see the bill for what it is, not for what someone might think it to be. Folks ought to be thankful this state has taken the initiative to do so.

People who work for that money that is then given to them have to be drug-tested to get the money.
Why shouldn't they be drug-tested too?
It's only fair.

They should have been doing this from the get go because anyone who is on the system that doesn't need to be has probably got a substance abuse problem. It's just not normal thinking to have no vision beyond welfare and be content living like that. Maybe this will prompt getting these people the help they really need instead of enabling the true problem by throwing more welfare at them.
