From the British Invasion years with the Dave Clark Five, The Stones etc. You have same taste in music as I. Soul music of motown, the Four Tops, the temptations, the supremes, martha reeves and the vandellas, to waylon and willie, linda ronstadt and the stone poneys, to the bee gees and donna summer and disco lol. I bet ridge you are not a disco fan lol. Thanx for the memories.

Ditto, lejardin.
And no, I'm no disco fan but I like Donna Summer and believe it or not I'm starting to like the BeeGees. I couldn't stand them after that period when they were about the only thing on the radio during that Saturday Night Fever era. I got burned out on 'em I think.

I can remember the exact moment I first heard that song; was sitting in a friend's car in a parking lot at the Tri-State Fair in Amarillo fixin' to go in when the song came on the radio. The opening riff made the hair on the back of my neck stand up and I made him stop and let me listen to the rest of the tune.

It's in my Top Ten, Top Five, even, fav. rock songs of all-time. Funny thing, though; about 15 yr. ago after I first got online I searched for the lyrics and finally found out the parts I couldn't understand.
