The trouble is, as I see it, the definition of "cruel and unusual" can change with each tilt of the Supreme Court. I don't know about anyone else, but just putting ME in prison would be cruel and unusual. I've always wondered why, if they want to execute someone painlessly, they don't just sedate the person and put them in a gas chamber and fill it full of carbon dioxide or nitrogen? No cyanide to have to worry about venting to the outside or decontamination procedures. Not just that way, but others that would seem to be as painless and even easier than using combinations of drugs.

People better be glad I'm not King of America; the ultimate punishment would be gutting the condemned and then dropped into shark tanks or wild hog pens.
