The interesting thing here is that the one's that came here the right way highly disapprove while others are very sympathetic regardless. I can see both sides of it, within reason, but feel that those who put in the effort to do it right are being forced giving a pass to those doing otherwise. It's a touchy situation especially with kids involved. Sure, we absolutely cannot afford to just haul in everybody, house and feed everybody, and all without something in return in the form of documentation and taxes at some point.

Obama is asking for $2B to address the situation and I'm ready to see exactly how he plans to distribute that money.

By the way, George Bush is the president that signed into LAW that if south american came here illegally, that we MUST TAKE THEM IN and process them. Yeah, go look that up and post the article...I have it already. Also, Obama is the president that's trying to REVERSE that law so that we AREN'T obligated to be so accommodating.

Oh, but Rush won't tell you all this...neither will FOX. But, he'll tell you how 'other countries won't even allow you to drop off dogs like that...I'm not comparing those kids to dogs.' Yeah, right from Rush. Failed to tell his people that Bush allowed those kids to be just dropped off and we have to take 'em in. I have no sympathy for a people unwilling to search for the real truth...like lots of those here. Then, when they do find it and validate it, they keep quite and tuck their tales instead of stepping up. Puppets.

I was reading about his wanting to change that law earlier today about children from South America. I would back Obama on getting the child immigration law that Bush signed changed but that portion of the law only.
My concern is once that portion of the law is brought before Congress there will be a big fight to bring in the whole package on immigration reform law.
It is going to be a sucker bait tactic. I would not trust congress on this.
