A good question would be how long our border has been 'unsecured'. What measures were taken prior to this administration to alleviate the issue besides the 2008 law? Did our then president visit the border(s) and discuss more man power and patrol...a very high wall? Hmmm. Maybe they could've filled the waters with 'gators and piranha to send a message. Nothing close happened, so, they obviously did feel the borders were pretty secure and did so until Obama took over...which is why Dirty Harry is hitting them from this angle. They can't even see it, though.

This is back in 2004, right in the middle of the Bush years and while prepping up the iraq 'angle' for the people. Seems everything is hunky-dory.
Oh, but then look up the Texas Border Security Council Report to Rick Perry in 2008. He requested $100 million to address these issues and what do we have to show for it???? Where did the money that he did get go???? Why did the problem become worse IF we had more patrol, resources, and preventive measure in place? I'll wait for an excuse.
