This is a good article but only part true. There is not that much difference in the way Whites and Blacks discipline their child in the South. This is the Bible Belt, pun intended, where most parents, White or Black, discipline their child according to Bible teachings. If you fail to train your child, he/she will embarrass you in front of your family members and friends. You will be talked about and your friends won't come around as much. You will know that your child(ren) is a problem when your friends stop inviting them to birthday parties.
