The US has been dragging their feet on oil independence since the 1970s in the US. Oil does not become an issue until the US public takes it up the ass in higher costs. Time to resolve this issue when it is at hand to do so.
OHHH the price of gas and oil is down again so stuff it on the back burner again. OPEC oil is below $50.00 a barrel again. So what are we to do? Fill the pockets of foreign producers with dollars again.
