There would seem to be good reason for BetOnSports PLC to send attorneys to Missouri. The firm is facing a 22-count indictment on fraud and racketeering charges filed in St. Louis. The chief executive is in jail, and the company faces a restraining order barring it from operating in the United States.

Amazing how one part of the government wants to shut down, lock up and throw away the key on one foreign company that takes bets from americans. Then a different part of the government allows another foreign company (Lottomatica) to take over a large share of the US lottery's, which in turn will be taking bets from americans. I'm sure wire transfers will be involved with the winnings one way or another. I know we are a nation of laws, but more and more it appears the "Law" is only enforced when and where they choose...

Seems that way, doesn't it. Read a comment on another site that credit card companies are sponsoring this law, that banks pushed through tougher bankruptcy laws that went into effect about a year ago . Looks like the Illuminati's been working overtime lately to keep from losing more money. Maybe there's a behind the scenes struggle between them and the mafia and all this is shaking out due to it.
