Almost Election Day!
Published:
Regardless of which way you are leaning, I hope you ALL go out to vote on election day.
Both sides are slinging crap like it is going out of style, too late for facts I guess...
The thing I look for is my life years ago vs. today....
I have lost 2 jobs due to outsourcing in the last 4 years.
I make LESS than I did four years ago
My benefits are worse AND MORE EXPENSIVE than 4 years ago.
I drive farther to get to work than years ago.
I know more people that have been screwed by nafta than have not been screwed by nafta.
My town and surrounding communities are under a flurry of bankruptcies, forclosures and sherrif's sales... it is sickening.
4 local factories closed, 2 lowered wages and only use temp hiring to avoid benefits.
Local unemployment is at an ALL TIME record...
all in the last 4 years.
I am not jumping on the bandwagon by regurgitating propaganda in lieu of a genuine opinion... I have been personally affected by Bush's reign of error... I am NOT voting for him. in a 20 mile area, only a few business owners have bush propaganda on their property... Bush lost this county for sure... I hope others follow.
I would rather higher wages rather than lower taxes.
I would rather insurance renorm over medical liability renorm, if after 8 years of extra school a doctor leaves in a set of forcepts, they deserve to be sued... Imagine if your wife went in for some surgery and was mixed up and recieved a hysterectomy... this HAS happened... now imagine they were a young couple who now can never have children. capping malpractice (think of the meaning mal=bad) is giving licence to practitioners to do their jobs without accountability...
I would rather punish corporations for exporting jobs. If being competetive in a global marketplace means screwing the workers at home, then let those corporations GET OUT! c-ya...
four more years of the corporate puppet bush and we may as well call this place America inc. "normer land of opportunity, come exploit our beaten down workforce"
