The drug manufacturers of today are bullies and play Russian roulette with people's lives. They have doctors, professors, congressmen, research-scientists, and the drug enforcement agencies that supposes to protect the public in their pockets. They are able to charge whatever they want for medicines and could care less if one is able to pay for it. Drugs that you once could purchase over-the-counter now need a prescription, which in turn you need to visit a doctor to obtain. Many senior citizens funds are being depleted because of drug companies greed. This is indeed the new Mafia, they specialize in holding the American people hostage for drugs and medicines they have a monopoly over.
