This has nothing to do with respect but everything to do with protocol. One can't bite the hand that feeds it and expect cooperation and understanding. This was a bad move that will have grave consequences.

You're right on point. The man simply doesn't want to seem as though he's pulling too far either way in all this...and IT IS BUSINESS. The meeting isn't a RESPECT MEETING, it's a BUSINESS MEETING. I can promise you something in all this, Speedy. If Putin was to accept a meeting with the (D)'s while refusing to meet with (R)'s, the idiot in #1 would instantly turn his back on Putin after having already turning his back on American a while back...all just so he could establish his hate for the President.

Giuliani is STILL trying to repair his dumbazz DISPRESPECTFUL statements he made about the President and NO ONE wants any part of him. Freedom of his speech? Yes, indeed. A dumbazz for doing it in that way and now having to retract due to outrage from even his own party? Most definitely a dumbazz. Yet, and still, THE PRESIDENT CONTINUES TO RESPECT ALL OF THEM WITHOUT ANY OF THE ATTITUDE AND CHOICE WORDS THEY CONSISTENTLT USE WITH HIM DAILY.

So, in a better summary, THOUGH YOU SHOW RESPECT, IT DOESN'T MEAN YOU'RE GOING TO GET IT IN RETURN. Racism and hatred WILL NOT ALLOW IT.
