There is nothing racist about that statement. In order to have a junior, there has to have been a senior. He's referring those left over from the Jim Crow era with the same mentality as the former. Al is saying that they defeated it then and they will defeat it now. If this is saying anything else to you then you must be part of the Jim Crow Jr. crowd.
