On April 14, 2026, the number matrix was changed from 7/50 to 7/52, the price increased from $5 to $6 per play, the number of lines per play increased from 3 to 4, MaxPlus draws were added (one per $1 million in jackpot size), and the maximum jackpot size was increased from $80 million to $90 million. Lotto Max changed from traditional ball drawings to computerized drawings and added one more number to the game matrix (changing it from 7/49 to 7/50) starting with the drawing on May 14, 2019. That was also the first Tuesday drawing for the game.
