The jackpot in the multi-state Mega Millions lottery grew to $48 million Saturday.

None of the tickets sold for the $40 million drawing held on Christmas Eve matched all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball.  The next drawing will be Tuesday.

There were eight second-prize winners from Friday's drawing: 1 from Georgia, 4 from New York, 1 from Texas, 1 from Virginia, and 1 from Washington.  Each ticket matched five numbers to win $175,000.

Another 27 players matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number.  Those tickets are each worth $5,000.

The winning numbers from Friday's drawing were: 9-20-22-41-42.  The Mega Ball number was 10.

The Texas Megaplier was 3.
