Mega Millions lottery jackpot increases to $92 million

The jackpot in the multi-state Mega Millions lottery grew to $92 million Saturday.

None of the tickets sold for Friday's $80 million drawing matched all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball. The next drawing will be Tuesday.

There were 11 second-prize winners from Friday night's drawing: 2 from Illinois, 1 from Maryland, 1 from Michigan, 1 from New Jersey, 1 from New York, 2 from Texas, 1 from Virginia, and 2 from Washington. Each winning ticket matched five numbers to win $175,000.

Another 36 players matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $5,000.

The winning numbers from Friday's drawing were: 2, 8, 14, 15, and 51. The Mega Ball number was 38.

The Texas Megaplier was 4.

January 11 is my birthday and it would be so nice to at least hit more than 10.00 and to hit the second prize would be oh so great!
