A Powerball ticket sold in Elwood, Indiana matched all six numbers in Saturday's drawing, entitling the holder to a $19.9 million jackpot, a Hoosier Lottery spokesman said.

So far, no one has come forward to claim the prize.  The winning ticket was sold at McClure Oil in Elwood, the spokesman said.

The winning numbers drawn for the Powerball game Saturday were 9, 13, 27, 40, 53 and a Powerball number of 28.

Also, 9 lucky players matched the first 5 numbers for a $100,000 prize: 1 from Arizona, 1 from Colorado, 1 from Indiana, 1 from Kansas, 1 from Kentucky, 2 from Missouri, 1 from New Mexico, and 1 from Rhode Island.

Since the inception of the POWERBALL® Lottery Game, there have been a total of seven hundred sixty-five (765) drawings.   Sdventy-eight (78) of those drawings resulted in winning combinations.  (NOTE:  Several of the winning drawings had multiple winners.)   The sdventy-eight (78) winning combinations translated into one (1) winning combination for every nine point eight one (9.81) drawings.

In the past three (3) month period commencing December 8th, 2004, the POWERBALL® Lottery Game has conducted twenty-six (26) drawings.   Those twenty-six (26) drawings produced seven (7) winning combinations.  The most recent seven (7) winning combinations translated into one (1) winning combination for every three point seven one (3.71) drawings.

This is most likely a harbinger that the POWERBALL® Lottery Game is most likely due for a long run-up to a big jackpot.
