Mega Millions

The jackpot in the multistate Mega Millions lottery drawing grew to $96 million Saturday.

None of the tickets sold for Friday's $82 million drawing matched all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball. The next drawing will be Tuesday.

There were nine second-prize winners from Friday night's drawing: 3 from California, 3 from New Jersey, 2 from New York, and 1 from Ohio.  Each ticket matched all five lotto numbers but not the Mega Ball number to win $250,000.

The 3 California second prize winners will get $236,693 each because California does not use fixed prize amounts.

Also, 44 players matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.

The winning numbers from Friday's drawing were: 1, 2, 17, 47, and 49. The Mega Ball number was 19.

The Texas Megaplier was 4.

iT'S AMAZING: to watch the Californians win as often as they do, when I can remember how certain groups out there fought hard to keep the M&M from even looking like it would tempt a gambler.

But's it's also very nice to see them win......Congrats to all the winners & keep it up......Hyper
