I just read where someone decided to "congratulate" this perverted s.o.b. by beating a few knots and lacerations on his head with either an iron pipe or a tire iron.

I guess he'll need to either leave Alaska or move to a very remote area (which isn't too hard to find there) since his face has been all over the news.   He should have answered "No" when approached.  Apparently a man, who had no intention of robbing him, recognized him on the street and asked if he was Ahsoak.  Then he started to beat him with a pipe.  I don't condone any type of violent vigilantism, but nobody wants a child molester living in his town.  In Alaska, violent crimes against women & children lead the nation by 2-1/2 times the national rate per capita, according to the FBI.

I understand why some people wrote posts that questioned his guilt, but if all the article indicated was that he was a Registered Sex Offender, I would probably have responded differently, since that could mean anything, depending on the state.  I get that.  But a repeat offender who has been convicted of child abuse 3 times and has plea bargained to avoid additional charges .... well, I can't see any reason why he is back on the street.

I am writing this to educate America...They spend so much time talking to sex abused victims yet no one pays attention to kids who are raised in Polygamist compounds...In those cases you are raising kids to be prostitutes when they are older and is the same thing as prostitution..The only difference is that prostitution is better in this case because prositution even though bad is done by the consciouness of people who are 18 or older who consciously decide to do it...But in polygamist compound kids specially females dont have options and they are told they must be sort of prostitutes when they are older otherwise they be kicked out and left as homeless...AND NO DAMN PERSON talks about it...But let them kidnap a blond kid or raped a victim everyone runs for that and it comes on the news...I am not saying a polygamist compound shouldn't exist but if it members want to participate they must be 18 years or older and not restraint kids for that job...It should be a conscious decision by an 18 year old...i don't care if is religion or not...

You know there are people who say: "Proud to be white" and yet none talks about this...Exactly...

The Forex trades: 1.6 Trillion dollars EVERY day, that´s more than the GDP of the Carribbean Central America, COMBINED. Enough to feed every crook out there for centuries...To all Geniuses & Powers Countries of the World the Planet needs breakthroughs in all Medicine, Veterinary, Biology related fields, Psychology, Population Psychology/Sociology..They need to genetically ingeneer new plants species/types to give more variety of plants and thus have more resources for combating diseases¨

I think most people's point of view would change when it happens to them personally or to someone they love or are close to. If you have been a victim then your point of view would defintely be a lot different in most cases.

        jackpotismine,

I totally agree with you on this one. So many people tend to be nonchalaunt about certain situations when they don't hit close to home. Especially government and people who hold a higher place of authority. I can't understand why it isn't a law that has been mandated for people who has been a victim of rape and or molestation that the perportrator have to pay some type of restituion and pain and suffering for all the damage that they are gauranteed to do. I don't mean to be graphic but it is children and or people who are messed up physically and mentally for life who have been sodomized and victimized so bad to where they can't even have children, and or have a healthy relationship when they become adults. No one talks about all the money parents, society and insurance companies have to shell out after such a hanus act has happened. I think that people who think that these kinds of hanus acts are forgivable are so Catholic and you know the ones I'm talking about b4 u try to turn it on me. Because I don't have anything against Catholics. They say that drug dealers get alot of time because of all the lives they affect well I can say the same for sex offender because as soon as you get one on the stand they say that it had been done to them and the one b4 that says the same etc. So how contradictive is that? Only in America can a man get more time for something someone, mostly adults has went out and outsourced. I mean the drug dealers don't put a gun to the addicts head and say buy my drugs but look at how many rapes have taken place literally this way a gun point, knife point, etc. I don't tolerate drug dealing in no type of way but what the heck is the FDA.

        To Pumpi,

I think that this prostituion stuff that you are going through is something kind of personal but who am I to say. I personally think that fudging for free should be a felony but that is another story espeically when birth control and raising children aren't free. For anyone who thinks that such an act should be excused they loose for the simple fact they have taken something from another person that they can't get back. It should really be an eye for an eye. American just like so many other countries take it just too lightly. But could you really imagine how things would change if such an act should happen to Jenna Busch, and or Chelsie Clinton.

Someone asked the question to why sex offenders have to register themselves - maybe because they move from state to state but I don't see why they are not automately registered statewide when they are released from prison.  Also I think Fla (justx) has a law in place that sex offenders get drug castration.

I believe that's voluntary, Tenaj.  (not sure)   I also think it would discourage offenders from registering.

One of the more infamous FL child sex offenders is John Couey.  He had been arrested 26 times for various offenses, not all related to sexual abuse, but he had a long history of related crimes. Yet he was able to live across the street from a beautiful little 9 year old girl he abducted, raped and killed.  Around the same time Adam Kirkirt was abducted by convicted sex offender, Frederick Fretz, in Dunellon.  He was found alive.  In Sarasota, Carlie Brucia was raped and murdered after being kidnapped while walking home from a sleepover. The man was a convicted criminal named Joseph Smith.  He had previously been charged with kidnapping and numerous other crimes.   The laws have gotten tougher, but there are still bigs flaws.

I don't think GOD has anything to do with anything. We only think, wish and hope. I think it's just destiny. We all have our destiny. Bad people win Lotteries. Good people win lotteries. Good people get killed. Bad people get killed. Our destiny is already determined. If you are really meant to win, you will and it's as simple as that.

                Play to win!

You've got to be kidding, right?   If you think a man who molested 3 and 4 year old girls and has admitted to doing it to many others for decades deserves another chance, then I don't think I'm the person with a problem.   Wanting this sick pervert off the streets and locked away forever where he cannot harm another little girl is not being a "Hater."

Do you think all the people who lost their homes during Katrina were sinners?  Of course not.  So then why when a child molester wins $500,000 does it mean God wants to give him another chance?  Stuff happens. Sure he had a rough life as a kid and was probably a victim of abuse himself.  So what?  I'm sure most serial killers have sad stories too.

Yes, I do believe in miracles.  I see them everyday when the sun sets or a bird sings.  However, winning the lottery is not a miracle.  A child is a miracle.  I hope you can understand the difference.

I'm against any violence.   This is America and only in America can this happen.  I hope he does what he said he would, turn things around and be a decent citizen.  If not, go straight to jail, do not cross go, and don't collect the 200.00.

I believe that anyone that commits three crimes should have a loooonnnngggg sentence.  That three strikes and you are out is a good law.

If this was "Truly HEAVEN SENT" on his behalf you should say. Well then it is Truly HELL SENT for the innocent victims. Some people I just don't understand. There are alot of people who win and it doesn't make them true winners and alot of people who loose and it doesn't make them bonafide loosers. Just look at the Curse of The Lottery special that comes on every now and again. Something tells me that this guy isn't going to be as lucky as one would think Karma is already stepping in w/a good butt kickin. But in the famous words of my mother, "The best butt whoopin that you can get is the one that you give yourself." For some they just might hang themself.

                            LOOSER AWARD?

Looser: Her new T-shirt was just a little bit looser than the old one.  Not tight-fitting:  not fitting closely and thus baggy.

                            Any chance you meant Loser?

Loser: an unsuccessful or unlucky person who seems destined to fail repeatedly.  A socially maladjusted person.

If you look up critic in one of it's generic forms critic is defined as an unpleasant person as if you should already know.
