Brahmi,

I'm afraid you don't understand the situation here.

Communism has never worked anywhere in the world including your country. Your country was the first to overthrow the communists in 1956. Maybe you are too young to remember how bad communism was for your country then and again later, under Soviet domination.

Our President is taking us down the road to that form of government and the overwhelming majority of the American people are against it.

If you support our President, you are taking a stand with him against the American people.

Watch our elections November 2nd and you will see the will of the American people.

Rdgrnr, I couldn't have said it better myself! This is exactly what the Tea Party is trying to say. If people think Obama is so great they need to go and take a look at what happened to Zimbabwe and THEIR INFLATION crisis. We are following straight down their path. But the only thing that everyone seems to be concerned with is the pebble in their shoe at the moment. People had better wake up and stop worrying about petty things and name calling and look at the bigger picture. When our economy and dollar collapses and people haven't prepared by stocking up on food and water, there will be civil unrest and total chaos. Don't think when something bad happens our good ole government is going to come and save you, take a look at the response to Katrina and realize it will be a hundred fold and it won't be just a few states it will be EVERY state. Do you think there will be enough man power and money to pay everyone? People won't work for free! Why doesn't everyone quit worrying about Kool-Aid, Tea, Black and White and start hearing the MESSAGE that is being preached!?!Patriot

Diamon Life-BTW, I'm not part of the Tea Party movement, but, I am a minority AND a Democrat and I get what the Tea Party is trying to say, and there will ALWAYS be IDIOTS/Racist people in any group or club, you can't fix stupid with some people. But to group every white person with a RACIST white person makes no sense at all!!!Sulk Off

    Thank you Velocity.

Your points were every bit as valid as mine with maybe even more cogency in this matter because you're a minority and of the President's party.

    Thanks again.

ok, time for sense and sensibility.

my buddy rdgrnr,  i know you like likker,  but even you must admit when you start a courtin the wimmins you are opposed to,

even you know that means you need to at least slow down down a smidge,  and git hold of yo'sef.

        love,  visiondude

Thanks dude but I never hold wimmins political persuasions against em. (Man, I could tell a good joke right here but not in good taste so I won't)

I always give them the benefit of the doubt though, that maybe they're just confused and then I take them out drinkin and dancin all night and try to show them the error of their ways. The forms of counseling and the modalities applied are varied and admittedly can be rigorous and even exhausting to both parties at times but the Machiavellian approach seems to work well in this endeavor as I usually find that the end justifies the means in a very real and literal sense.

First off, I have never been giving a "leg up", especially lately.  My husband lost his job in April, we got our car repossessed in August, we're barely holding onto our home.  He has a new job, which pays a fraction of the bills.  We are debating whether or not to keep our health insurance next year because of the jump in our contribution.  We can't afford it, thanks to the new healthcare reform bill.

At least Sarah can spell and put together a complete sentence.  Yes, I know we pay previous debts, but Obama's "pork-u-lus" bill was nothing more than paying back his cronies.  It did NOTHING for the economy or our citizens.  He seems to think he has a blank check to this country and he can keep spending and spending and we can keep paying and paying.

If your family member thinks she's paying hefty insurance bills now, just wait until they take into effect Obama's healthcare reform bill!  She'll be paying through the nose!

            Excellent points gonnawinwatchme.

I'd like to add that McDonalds and a bunch of other large corporations who were recently complaining that they would have to fire employees because they couldn't afford the new Healthcare laws were given waivers to put them above the law and not required to get the government healthcare for their employees.

Why were they given waivers? To shut them up before the election.

Why did they need to shut them up? Because they were telling everybody how the new healthcare system doesn't work.

If McDonalds and these other large corporations can't make it work, nobody can.

This is going to be a fiasco of epic proportions if we don't get it repealed.

Actually, one man can turn around an entire country single-handedly.  Ronald Reagan did in starting in 1980, when he inherited a much worse and more dangerous situation than the current one.

By the end of his first two years things were getting on a firm footing, and by the end of his first term American was proud and strong once again.  He was re-elected by one of the most overwhelming landslide victories in modern history -- 49 out of 50 states.

Ronald Reagan, through his unwavering vision of what American really is, and through the incredible leadership necessary to bring the whole country along with him, despite overwhelming opposition from the daily pounding of an unchallenged liberal media, did it himself.

That's a what true leader is, and we can all see how history judges such a man.  How will it judge Obama?

I tell you , he will be judge by historian, who hopfully have nothing politically to gain, personally you guys try to make Ronald Reagan out to be a saint , which he wasn't he made lots of bad calls, the firing of the air traffic control workers, which started all the incompetency of the airlines. There was multiple of crashes afterward.President Obama will be re-elected.Thumbs Up

Actually, the firing of the air traffic controllers was a gutsy and correct move.  Nobody is perfect, so I'm sure if someone like you wants to target a person as "bad", they will undoubtedly find things to talk about.  But history does not judge a person on relatively minor decisions.  They tend to judge on the outcome, and then they look at all the decisions that led to that outcome.

For Reagan, the outcome was that America went from a run-down, demoralized morass, which was threatened by the Soviet Union, and from a whole lot of people who were ready to give in to them, to the most prosperous peacetime expansion in its history that defeated the Soviets without a single shot fired.  "Peace through strength" and "trust but verify" are some of the sentiments attributed directly to Reagan.

For Obama, I think we're still waiting to see just how good or bad things will become.  Then, once his term(s) is/are over, historians will view the outcome, and then go back and examine all the decisions that led up to that good or bad outcome.

Personally, I think you're being very optimistic on his chances of re-election.  But then again, I guess we'll all find out in two years.
