There's only 3 people in my pool.

Me, my ownself and I.

I hope you have a written agreement because that's what you think now but that may change if you ever win a jackpot. Disapprove

I agree. And that's part of why I don't like pools.

If anybody in the pool buys tickets on their own and wins, they can pretty much count on their pool partners hauling them into court for a piece of it.

Somebody will say "there was a deal" that we would all share what each other won or something. It'll be their word against yours.

And some judge will allow it.

And let's face it, most workplace pools ain't gonna have contracts cuz they're all the best of buddies...

    Until somebody wins.

And then it's Katy bar the door.

Them's just the cold, hard facts.

I play in my job place work pool as well as on my own. I know we are headed for a big struggle if we ever win big. We don't have a contract. Sometimes we buy tickets to cover the players who are absent. Some times some players skip playing. We only make copies of the pool tickets and get a list of participants. The good thing is that the pool only happens when the JP is really high. When it is over + $300M

    That money's gone fo ever

If you win on your own make certain you dont tell anyone til the check clears the bank.

Yeah. I learned something new from this news article about claiming a JP drama free. Too bad you cannot claim anonymously in MA where I play.

            Is that you golfer?

Naw Ridge, I ain't that good looking.

I was so ugly as a baby that when I was born the doctor smacked me, then my momma slapped me, the nurse kicked me, the orderly and other patients who were in the hospital all hit me too. It was terrible.

Of course as I grew older I got better looking. I get compliments all the time about my facial hair.

This is quite hard because their leader is not transparent with the members. How will they determine which tickets are included in the lottery pool? I think the friendship is more important than the money.
