I read in an interview she gave that she is an "occasional" lottery player usually at Holidays and birthdays.  When she was checking out of the store the clerk asked if she wanted to purchase a PB ticket.  She stated she had never played the PB before so why not, and she bought two tickets one for her and one for her husband.  Chances are if the clerk had not asked she probably would not have purchased the ticket.

          That's great news for a fellow Washingtonian.  I love it how she quit her job right away.  Life is too short to spend it as a slave.
