Wouldnt be surprised if the thief sues, saying it was their ticket that they lost in that car they were breaking into...

I wouldn't be surprised if it was discovered this story was a plant to piss off the thief.  Who leaves a lottery ticket they consider worth checking on their dash that long?  Lottery tickets are printed on heat sensitive paper and setting on a hot dash for any time usually ruin them.

 * you don't need to buy more tickets, just buy a winning ticket *

to have to deal with any legal inheritance issues if she died

Crazy lady. All that medication screwed her head up and now's she's worried about the money. Don't see how they can sue if the NYL already did their investigation.

Because this is the Litigious States of America and every crackpot and dingbat can sue for everything. If a cop can sue Starbucks because he spilled his free cup of coffee on himself, this admittedly mentally unstable woman can sue her daughter for this.

I might wake up early and go running.  I might also wake up and win the lottery.

The odds are about the same.

Reading your statement, I'm reminded of the mother who presented her son, who'd just signed his first contract to play ball professionally, with a check, apparently to cover the cost of raising him. I guess she didn't think being a mother should come without a monetary benefit. Try and remember that bringing a child into this world does not a parent make. I've seen "parents" treat their children despicably, and the moment the child says enough's enough, they are labeled as ungrateful.

I even know of one case where a father molested his daughter for years, and as soon as she got enough money together, she left and never spoke to him again. Even after the father got sick, she refused all contact. Every single family member labeled her an ungrateful heartless b!tch, because to them, she'd lived in the lap of luxury and had everything provided for her. But they had no idea what she'd endured behind closed doors.

When someone acts in a way that is contrary to societal norms and allows themselves to be lambasted, either they have no heart and no conscience, or there's a missing part of the story.

              Casino Crawler.

              Hola.

              y'(and) your post is correct.

I think a multitude of folks will agree.

Also, word to the wise everyone. (I know some one quite well who made a prudent deal in writing with his folks, and it has paid off for all three of them."

My old neighbor, hose work 45 years then retired, was on SSI. Hence, had enumerated, document establishing that if his deadbeat, albeit loving son,(has a hard time working, for whatever reason et.al,)EVER in his entire life,he has left, even if he move away 1 day, ever "won either Take Cash,or a NJ nearby lottery or other lotto games,or slot machines et.al, roulette et.al, over 75k or more, that he will give pops and his loving mother who house him,fed him, misc; monies, bus fare for job interview, cab fare, for those "late night missed the bus days nights etc.al, in a nutshell did it ALL for him, that both parents, and son Mike will be sharing it 50/50. Even though he was on SSI,and the wife retired from postal service et.al, they still took great care of the son,who NEVER paid rent, but promise"1"day  he will give back to them what they have lent him, over several years. I remember he won on the slot $ Progressive ones. I remember how happy they were."

They took care of him(very well for just about four to five long years and what does he do when he was truly bless to win a "huge slot machine win?" He went  home, and dad and him with the mother, all drove up to the bank, and happily share hiswinnings... (Six figures.)one of those huge progressive jackpot. I respect him more for this, i told him,and i know this is what this mother should have done... It is not about, i don't trust you,but more about proving to the parent you mean what you say, after maybe lieing in the past to ur folks etc, who knows, also, this is something he even volunteer to do,and again they are all living $ well for the past 2 or 3 yrs."

              -

God bless good kids like that. he is no lates or early 30s. they are all happy. I wish this mother did the same, and i pray for her

daughter to HAVE A HEART... Just do what is right and give your mother some dinero$$$$$ she deserve it,even if it's clear you don't think so. We only have 1 mother...,

I can never be so nefarious like that. Ever.
