Uncanny but touching experience leads to winning the lottery again

By Kate Northrop

MOUNT GILEAD, Ohio — An Ohio widow was stunned after a familiar voice led her to alter her course home to pick up a $30,000 winning lottery ticket.

After listening to a voice in her head that encouraged her to skip the direct route home and make a stop along the way, an Ohio woman won $30,000 in the lottery.

June is a difficult month for Ohio resident Angie. June 16 marked her wedding anniversary to Steve, her husband who passed away three years ago one day after their anniversary.

She was driving home after babysitting her grandchildren in Morrow County one day last month. While waiting to turn left, she heard a voice in her head that told her to go right instead.

The voice said to visit the gas station near where Angie and Steve used to train horses together, and she figured it was a good idea to get some gas anyway, so she stopped at Certified Oil on South Main Street in Mount Gilead.

With Steve on her mind, she decided to purchase some scratch-off tickets for herself as an anniversary present, explaining to the Ohio Lottery that Steve had always treated her to higher priced tickets, so she decided to do the same.

Angie ended up purchasing four tickets, one of them from the $30 "Wild Cash Tripler" instant game. The more she scratched, the more floored she became.

She saw she had won $1,000 at first, but as she continued to play, the prize money kept coming in. After all spots were revealed, she had won $30,000.

Upon claiming her prize, she took home $21,975 after federal and state taxes.

She couldn't help but feel like her husband had something to do with the win considering the signs that pointed to the familiar location and coincidental timing around their anniversary.

Angie recalled to Lottery officials that her car engine had recently blown. It meant having to have major repairs done on the truck, which had belonged to Steve.

"I'm taking care of your truck, you take care of me," she had told Steve when the repairs were completed.

With her winnings, Angie plans on paying off the loan she took out for the repairs.

Prior to winning $30,000 in June, Angie and Steve shared plenty of luck in the lottery together. Angie recalled that Steve purchased some tickets a few years back before he had gotten sick. He had left them in the truck, which went forgotten until Angie found them in the fall and decided to check them on the way to a horse race. She was bewildered to discover they had been driving around with a $30,000 winning lottery ticket for months. They used that prize money to remodel their home.

The $30 "Wild Cash Tripler" game that Angie played in June has 15 fourth-tier prizes of $30,000 remaining. The game also has nine top prizes of $300,000, two second-tier prizes of $120,000 a year for 25 years, and four third-tier prizes of $40,000 a year for 25 years left to win.

The overall odds of winning any prize in the game are 1 in 3.13.

It is wonderful that her husband continues to lookout for her financially even after his death.

Glad that the money came in handy with the truck repair loan payment.

That definitely would never be me, I always check my tickets the next morning and the lottery would be mistaken to think am delivering their morning coffee because I would be the first one at the door 🤣🤣

This is a story of Inter-dimensional communication well received.

Steve whose life is continuing in a nearby dimension was able to successfully  communicate to Angie on what to do to raise the money to address the financial issues she faced.

The greater achievement here is the message transfer and receipt and follow through to the end objective of the Lottery prize.

My Congratulation is to Angie for listening to that inner voice.
