The excitement is growing in the game with the largest jackpot in North America.
Mega Millions players won nearly $3.6 million in Friday's drawing. That includes eight tickets that each won $175,000.
None of the 405,355 winning tickets matched all six numbers to win the jackpot. So the jackpot for the Tuesday, November 11, 2003 drawing grows to an estimated $70 million.
Friday's winning Mega Millions numbers were 06-18-23-26-30 and the Mega Ball number was 31.
Those eight tickets that won Mega Millions' second highest prize did so by matching the first five numbers. They only missed that final gold Mega Ball number. Three of those tickets were sold in New York; two in Illinois; two in New Jersey and one in Maryland.
Mega Millions players won a total of $3,595,453 in Friday's drawing.

this game never has had a jackpot larger than 180 million. that was the big game that had the record jackpot - it did so with only 7 states and with different rules. i wish the megamillions group would stop lying about this.
