Mega Millions jackpot swells to $85 million

Mega Millions

The jackpot in the multi-state Mega Millions lottery grew to $85 million today.

None of the tickets sold for yesterday's $71 million drawing matched all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball. The next drawing will be Friday.

There were four second-prize winners from last night's drawing. Those tickets are each worth $175,000.

Thirty-six players matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $5,000.

The winning numbers from yesterday's drawing were: 17, 24, 29, 37, and 45. The Mega Ball number was 43.
