Elecia Battle, the woman who caused a controversy when she falsely claimed that she lost a winning Mega Millions lottery ticket, is back in the news, and she's literally fighting to get there.

Battle is now turning to boxing, fighting under the name "Mega Battle Bad Girl."

The former high school kick boxer made headlines in January when she claimed to have lost the winning Mega Millions lottery ticket, worth more than $150 million.

She later said she was mistaken, and was charged with filing a false police report.

Now, Battle wants another 15 minutes of fame, reported Bibb.

"When the lottery madness came upon me, I said, 'I'm going to get my reputation back,'" said Battle.

A small-time bout is scheduled, but now she's challenging Laila Ali, daughter of the champion Muhammad, to a fight.

"She has that name from her daddy and I have the name from the lottery," said Battle.

Battle says she's got the fancy footwork and the fast hands, too she also says she can float like a butterfly and sting like a bee.

Battle trains at Buckeye Fitness Gym in Cleveland, and is managed by her husban, Jimmy Battle.

She is scheduled to fight Aug. 27 at the Cleveland Convention Center.
