Eye know, too.
The Premium Blog is not displaying this well, you can go to the Regular Blog to see also. Regular Blog With some of the recent posts about people loosing their eye sight, it reminds me of my own. Eye know.
With some of the recent posts about people loosing their eye sight, it reminds me of my own. I know what it is like to loose sight. I am partially blind in my left eye. It was an accident from childhood, well more like my dumb brother hit me in the eye with a block of wood. I tend to not think too much about it because my right eye makes up for the blind area in my left. If I close my right eye I can not even read this well with the monitor at arm's length...

'End of Life' for a laptop after 22 months?
I read an amusing but cautionary blog entry from someone who had purchased an Alienware laptop, and then was told it was essentially dead after just 22 months. Charleston SC
Underway for Charleston SC tomorrow, then Las Vegas NV - gone for a couple of weeks. Lottery payout and percentage page update going smoothly for the most part - a few bumps in the road here and there, but nothing significant or earthshaking. About 70 complete. But at this time I'm assuming my figures on the KY Tic Tac Cash game are correct, having received nothing from anyone to the contr...

Ever have one of those moments where you want a meeting to be over?
Today's tRAC (the Residents' Action Council) meeting was extraordinarily long (1 hour and 30 minutes. They usually last for less than an hour.). We had 5 votes today, and 4 of the 5 were on the same subject: Giving funding for a program. We tried voting on half the person's asking amount (The person screwed up the funding norm, so the majority usually went with "no".) The first vote was "no", so one fourth of the amount was proposed, and that got a bigf "no". Both sides had a big discussio...
