This & That [been busy outdoors]
Have been doing spring leaf cleanup all week that was not done last fall. Should end up with 20 or 21 leaf bags full. Been doing 3 to 5 hours a day. Takes me a long time to get around the yard with an upright walker using the leaf blower making piles here and there. I sit in a chair to do the bagging. we are getting colder weather everyday, spring is definitely in the air, I have to get a wool hat, and scarf to wear as concerned with getting a cold or the flu.Plus i have to wear longer socks, as the ones i have are way too short for the winter. Everybody dress warm for the weather!...

Overnight Getaway
My birthday is in September so we have decided to go to Chinook winds on the 23th of September for a one night stay at the chinook winds casino. Which will include a one night stay at the hotel because they have a suite that has two queen beds just perfect for me and mom. The internet special is $119 a night for this room so I will book it in august on my debit card so we will be locked in to stay. It will be nice to hear the ocean from our room and be able to see the waves...

There is still hope
After last summer and this past winter I thought we hit the tipping point in global warming. However, I am a lot more optimistic now as I expected temps in the 90's by now where I live. With the exception of 2 mini heat waves this spring, It's been relatively cool. This gives me hope. The naysayers will undoubdedly use this as proof that the earth isn't warming which is scary, and at this point they're grasping at straws. Any number of experiments can prove what the effects...
