City taxes and lottery winnings
Although not exactly on-topic, almost all Connecticut wins $600 or more are now subject to withholding, whether or not you are a CT resident.

Connecticut & Powerball
Connecticut has had three PB winners; all of them in the first half of 1997 (5/45 + 1/45).

Connecticut & Powerball
I'm from CT. I recently started playing Powerball in last say couple of years. The sad thing is I don't think CT has ever had Jackpot winner for Powerball. That is whacked, maybe I'm wrong or it's further back than I care to search. lol. What are your thought on that, are some states destined to send money elsewhere? I know this much, as we play with statistics, your chances of winning PB in CT are slim to none. You have better chance of finding Saddam and getting the $25 mil reward money. Hehe.

Any Update on New Years's Raffles?
Anybody know the situation with Connecticut SuperDraw Raffle tickets and also Pennsylvania Millionaire Raffle tickets? Whether or not tickets have been sold out etc.
The Connecticut Drawing is on January 1st and PA's is on January 6th. No Florida Millionaire Raffle this year.
Thanks. G5
