Well folks.......should there be a rollover of the Measly Millions tonight from the advertised jackpot of $400 Million Annuity/$185.8 Million CASH , any guesses as to the next dollar amount it goes to ? I did not see anything posted on the TX website for calculations as of this time so I am going with $18 Million for the rollover increase. Good luck to all who are participating in tonights draw.

The Mega Millions jackpot has increased by $19 million to $400 million after 22 consecutive rolls. A further reduction in interest rates has resulted in a smaller than expected increase in the jackpot. The 22 roll record is almost twice as large at $785 million.

The Mega Millions jackpot has increased by $23 million to $381 million after 21 consecutive rolls. This is a surprisingly small increase given the Powerball jackpot was won recently and is only $33 million. This is caused in part to a lowering of interest rates.

I don't think the jackpot estimate will increase before the drawing. I expect the Labor Day holiday to slow down sales as many people travel. If it rolls tonight then expect a buying frenzy to continue Wednesday.

I'm sure the jackpot frenzy will adjust it a bit but it will be interesting to see how it plays out! I'm pretty sure that even the people at PB aren't all that sure exactly how things could go. Right now they're forecasting a $100 million increase, but since last night finished at 1.03 billion that means their first estimate for Monday is really 1.13. Lottery sales for the big national games are down. This is probably the main reason the Mega Millions game was recently changed.
