What luck
I'll take luck any day of the week. Just like this lady in California who had been playing the same numbers she had on the back of her fortune cookie since January and got 5 of the 6 numbers last Friday in the Mega Millions.

Fortune cookies numbers.
I never played fortune cookie numbers until October 2006. I played it once and now I have to continue playing it because I know what will happen the minute I quit playing this one number. And I'm not willing to take that risk.

Kentucky Cash Ball question.
It's apparently a fixed prize rather than a jackpot. If they say it pays a fixed amount and they don't say that multiple winners share that amount it seems pretty clear that it's not normally a pari-mutuel prize. I'll guarantee that there's some fine print that says something about the official rules, and that the official rules allow them to pay a limited amount in unusual circumstances. There may be a regular limit of $1 million, and I can promise that if 100 people win by playing numbers from

Ishan Khan waited for 10 years. I can't do that.
Now that you've shared your numbers, maybe if you win others will too same as the time all those people played that fortune cookie number. Good luck to you all.

are you superstitious?
Not really. I don't make it a habit of playing the same numbers more than once (fortune cookie numbers or numbers off the top of my head). Also, if I get a bad feeling about the clerk, i'll play somewhere else.

fortune cookie numbers
I keep a bunch of fortune cookie slips in a coffee cup on my desk. I play MM twice a week and if the mood strikes me, I pull 4 or 5 slips randomly and whatever numbers are on the slips I eliminate from the field of 56 white balls. Sometimes I throw out winners but sometimes it's all good and I wind up with 3 or 4 winners in my wheel.

Doubt Quick Picks?
If most of the winning numbers came from any other source than QPs, there would be an investigation as there was when all those folks got 5of5 on their PB ticket using the fortune cookie numbers. QPs cover all the possible combinations while systems and personal numbers only cover a few.

match 5 powerball won twice same person?
Yeah, it's one thing if the jackpot is split by only two or three players, but you wouldn't want to split the pot with 100 other players, like you probably would if you picked fortune cookie numbers and they won. Recall that almost happened last year, on March 30, 2005.

match 5 powerball won twice same person?
Why would you want others rooting for the same numbers?   That just means less of the jackpot for you, if you win it. I just do not get players who play fortune cookie numbers for Powerball. What is the point of beating 146.1 million to one odds if the jackpot is split so many ways you can't retire off it?
