I stopped playing the Mega Millions after the price of tickets increased to $5. I play the Powerball every drawing, because I predict that Powerball will eventually raise the price of tickets to $5 to compete with Mega Millions. Lets face it, you know Mega Millions is now increasing their revenue with the jackpot at $800 million, because most people will buy at least one ticket even if the price is at $5.

I was curious about this today so posed a question on Google. The site I was led to (but can't find again) said that Mega Millions promised no steady increases of any set amount but yet it seems lately that $10 millioin is a given. False advertising?
