Itsonly$, The payouts would be varied. The state with the largest populations, and this the most ticket sales, would probably be something like you'd have to lay $1.50 to win $1. States like North Dakota and Wyoming would be underdogs and pay more than $1 for $1. But the MUSL which runs PB and MM and other games already has enough on its hands.

I'm curious to know the source of your information especially when you say Even Wyoming, with just under 600,000 population has more than Virginia and DC in sales combined ($44,845). My sources give the sales figures for last nights MM draw as follows for the states you mentioned. DC $36,632 MD $479,035 VA $563,516 VT $17,830 WY $44,845

Wow. I knew there would be one. Her goes. I was thinking on a cabin in Wyoming, but thank you. it won't quite be a million dollars each. Most people will be quite happy with being debt free. No one is being dilusional here. Let me give you perspective . With our 57 cents a day investment ($20/5 weeks) we are buying into a dream (and a dream it is). No one is being dilusional here. OK, I live in Wisconsin, a big tax State. I would take the Cash amount and move to Wyoming or South Dakota without a State income tax. If I take the annuity I have to file with Wisconsin every year for the rest of my life. Now, seeing that I want to give a large amount to charity anyway, could I say split my winnings between me for my part, and the other half to a new Charitable foundation? MarkP

Alaska and Wyoming get lots of revenue from natural resources. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe that not only does Alaska not have a State income tax but they actually pay there residents from oil revenues. Hawaii has alot of wealthy people who probably dont care to play the lottery and besides which state would the Hawaiians buy tickets from? Why does Nevada need a lottery?
