Ok people have posted wha they would buy with MM now lets do the charities this time.
If I happen to win the MM, I would prefer a more hands on approach to charity as opposed to dishing out money big name charities. Research shows that some - not all - of the big name charities are sitting on hundred of millions in endowments. Some charities can exist forever without even raising an extra cent by just living off the earnings from their endowment. If my 1 million dollar donation is going to be used 30 years from now, I would rather give it to a smaller local charity that w

The $29.95 Non-Believerz
It's pointless to continue playing your PB/BB game. There is no money in it! You are here to gain attention from others, I am not. I proved that you do not need Probability Math to accomplish the task you say requires Probability Math. End of story. Get over it! You, Lotto Pro, and Probability Math just ain't the answer to winning the lottery! Maybe if you weren't such a sore loser, as well as an arrogant winner, more people would come out and play with you. Look at your reaction to my w

is the lottery rigged?
Wherever people and large sums of money are concerned there exists the potential for rigging . I am from Pennsylvania, home of the now infamous 6 6 6 draw that resulted from lottery officials tampering with the pick 3. Fully aware of the odds, but enjoy the challenge anyway.

A system That works
I approached a woman in PA a little over 26 years ago and the next thing I knew, I was married. Lived happily ever after, but YMMV. So be careful approaching women in PA, just sayin'. Concerning the lottery, my wife says never put money into a machine unless food comes out.

Someone needs to console me now...
How many of their 80 tickets needed to have all the right numbers? Was it just one? I'm guessing it was just one. 80 tickets makes you 80 times as likely to win, but it's also 80 chances to spend $2 and not win anything. As Brock says, the vast majority of people who bought 10, 20, or 100 tickets lost all of their money except for the 15% that goes towards the $4 prizes. Even with 100 tickets you've only got about a 1 in 3 chance of winning $7.

How much do you "Owe," in this Lottery situation?
Concerning to see a post saying one could lie about having borrowed the money. An honest person pays their debts regardless of the terms of the relationship.

How much do you "Owe," in this Lottery situation?
Never really minded all of the hypotheticals, but the sheer volume of posts about scams, being scammed, stealing tickets, and borrowing money was always a bit sus. Certain Miami-based BINGO players should just keep their noses clean and all will be well. Welcome back to LP Karen and good luck with the BINGO.

How much do you "Owe," in this Lottery situation?
Oh wow, a Karen Nathan hypothetical. I had completely forgotten about these. I would obviously pay back the $10. If I would split the prize depends on who lent me $10. To be honest this is a tough one because out of superstition I would never borrow money to gamble in the first place. It's bad luck. So is picking numbers off the license plate of a hearse. Gotta get your numbers and gambling funds from clean sources.
