First class all the way.
Being a travel agent, years ago we used to be able to upgrade to first class when there was space available. That's been gone for many years now. But,way back when, the flight attendants used to come down the aisle and slice roast beef, pork, etc. right there, serve vegetables and potatoes from china bowls, keep your tails refilled, serve ice cream and warm desserts........it was great service. Now days, aside from the extra room in the seats, you don't get anything to rave about unless you

where are they now?--past members
Awwww, give it a little credit! It's much slower paced then here, that's for sure. It's got a more international flavor. And I think CalifDude said he was only doing predictions by email now. I agree the LP beats any other lottery forum out there, don't get me wrong. But it's fun to look around too, sometimes.

PTS tickets
I don't see how without having an address in the UK or Isle of Man plus a debit card tied to a British bank in the UK. At least at the www.national-lottery.co.uk (the official site). I did however get an international bank account and a Visa issued by that non-US bank. But it's not a british bank. Plus any orders I make would have to be in Canada to avoid the third-world corruption of WA state.

Playing Overseas / No taxes?
If the online lotteries were sending cash across international lines sooner or later customs of some country would figure it out. There is a similar situation with weigh stations in various states. Furniture manufacturers in North Carolina would ship furniture to other states. Eventually, Virginia would send information from the truck manifests (obtained by the state police at weigh stations) to the destination states, who subsequentially would bill their residents for unpaid sales tax, and in t

What do Lottery Post members do?
Sounds like he is going into their apprenticeship program at the school I mentioned in Piney Point. Its a school run by Seafarers International Union and it is a good school. It's tough at first because they march around alot and to different classes but it pays off in the long run if he sticks to it. I belong to that Union and have for years and chances are good he may end up on a ship with me while he is in training. Not to worry , I'm pretty easygoing and I try to help those in training the b

Playing lottery alone?
I partly agree with you but I guess I brought it up here since they mentioned it during the interview. Had it been a private thing among friends, like going out to Happy Hour after work, I probably wouldn't have given it a second thought, although I'd still resent being left out if I wanted to join and pay my share. In a way, maybe it's a good thing I haven't worked for a place that has a pool, since I definitely would not get over it if they won a huge amount!! (I'm admitting it) For 21 year

Canada joining Powerball or Mega Millions
I brought up the idea of Powerball going international to the MUSL a long while ago. They said that they were not interested at this time. The way I see it now is that eventually they are going to run out of states to lure into the game and either remain static at the states in the game or expand it internationally. couldn't they allow the sales of Powerball at duty-free stores in Canada. Don't they accept American curency?

Can U dig $128m next TU ? MM ROLLED OVER
The fortune 500 list isn't made up of people looking for the equvalent of a high end welfare check. Nothing is really risk free in life. Taxes also will go up. If you think they will go down than an annuity might be OK but with the baby boomers retiring that would be even less likely than a MM hit. Also if you die the annuity would be hit with a death tax if it's still around for it's cash value. Unless of course you had taken cash and placed it in international accounts. Also don't play games i

$500 Million Jackpot!
When you ask these types of questions I wonder why you even bother to put PowerBall on the list. When the jackpot reaches around $350 million they cap it at $25 million increases. This means after that point you will need 6 more drawings to reach the $500 million mark. Odds of that are really really slim. Mega Millions will take at most 3 drawings after the $350 mark to the $500 mark. This is possible especially with the sales patterns of lately. Time will tell but I believe it will happen
