Book: Money for Nothing
Money for Nothing: One Man's Journey Through the Dark Side of Lottery Millions by edward Ugel For the better part of a decade, Edward Ugel spent his time closing deals with lottery winners, making a lucrative and legitimate if sometimes not-so-nice living by taking advantage of their weaknesses . . . weaknesses that, as a gambler himself, he knew all too well. In Money for Nothing, he explores the captivating world of lottery winners and shows us how lotteries and gambling have beco

Follow the money...
I've got GH's Master Guide. Read it a couple of time, leafed through it, paged through it, reading here and there and it came to me. Why was this so important it made her internationally famous? The answer is money. The players wanted to win money. The lottery corporations wanted to make money. And the politicians wanted more tax money. Basically the whole thing was blip on the radar until a player walked into a lottery headquarters with a copy of the book and profusely thanked

What is the tax situation in Puerto Rico?
It's an interesting question. They pay the 20% tax initially, which I believe is a state tax. But whether or not they pay the additional federal tax on top of that is a question mark. One would think that the source of the money, even though the ticket was purchased in puerto rico, the majority of the money from the winnings would have to be from outside puerto rico. There's a couple of stories of big winners from PR. Something about a third of 564 million, and then one lump payment of 101 milli

Let's try and wake up this Pick 10 N.Y. site
OK so here is the tally. Horrible numbers came out last night. There was only one number repeat the 6 was the only repeat number I had an angle with a 17 but here's the great news. I actually won money ,two of my five games I had zero numbers, so I won eight dollars for a net of three dollars. I'm I winner ,like I said if I'm playing with their money I don't mind taking the time to figure these numbers out. That's my enjoyment, you know what as of right now I'm not losing any money and I played

How much do you "Owe," in this Lottery situation?
In this scenario, I couldn't play without his help, but if I had not bought the ticket there would not be a jackpot win. Yup. If you had to borrow money in order to play you only won because they loaned you the money. As I see it, the difference between winning only because they loaned you money and only getting a slice of pizza because they loaned you money is the butterfly effect. Maybe you wouldn't have won if any single thing before winning had been even a little bit different. Still, i

Why do you want to win the lottery?
I play the lottery for a little entertainment...and oh yeah, I'd like to win a big pile of cash too. I want wealth because having more than enough money represents freedom. If you're wealthy, your wealth gives you options that many other people don't have. I'd like to be debt free. Because I haven't been debt free since I was a kid, I'd like to remember what it's like not to have to think about whether or not there's there's enough money in the checkbook to cover all the bills each month

The $29.95 Non-Believerz
Doing Great Mr-B. I agree with your assessment of Yawn Wayne's superior attitude and ego. I've never made any bones I don't like it. Nothing about it is cute or funny. We all come here expecting people to live up to their word and then this guy comes along playing state games; basically saying, I know I did it. You know I did it. But you still have to prove I did it. When you cross paths with someone of the mindset it is frustrating. You'll never get the truth out of them and not bec

What is the "Lottery Bible"?
Exactly. Pick 3 is a game I have loved for 30 years but it is a money pit. There is no way I could spend the amount of money required to play the gazillion combos listed in these Lottery Bible type posts.

Lawyer Reccomends NOT To Sign Ticket??
I agree. The lawsuits over lost money from investing and running businesses for which they have no expertise would be constant fodder for the tabloids. The money would ruin their lives.
