I got two tickets, two days apart. In those two days between my tickets, they've sold 7300 tickets. I would expect the biggest bumps in sales to be ahead of the first monthly drawing on April 1st, and ahead of the million dollar draw on July 2. Those two dates are incentive-heavier. People probably aren't running to buy a $20 ticket that still has three weeks until first draw and almost four months until the million draw.

Random enough was my statement. Weather does not matter as they do not publish this data in the context of the drawing, AND PA uses PRNG in day games and Ball machines at night. Ball machines have test draws, which they also do not publish. Anything not obtainable is just that, not obtainable. If weather played a role, there would be some sort of seasonality present in the data, which is not there when looking with SARIMA. Ball weights don't matter to their day games. The only relevant data

The 10X PowerPlay number is removed from play once the advertised jackpot hits $150 million. ($150,000 and down is when it's available) Also there is a pool of 43 PowerPlay balls that are used to select the PowerPlay number prior to each drawing. There are 24 2X balls, 13 3X balls, 3 4X balls, 2 5X balls and 1 10X ball (when the JP is $150,000 or less) That's why you don't see 10X very often, while most drawings are 2X. G5

MM was unlucky in that, for their highest jackpot annuity win of $980 million, there was an 8% chance someone would win (based on number of tickets sold since the previous drawing), and someone did win. The same thing happened in the two previous jackpot wins since the rule change, and MM was even more unlucky in that they sold fewer tickets and someone won it. With slow ticket sales and outrageous odds of winning, on average the number of rollovers will be much higher.
