GROUPS. It is very difficult, practically impossible, to reliably predict performance of individual numbers. IMO, trying this is a waste of time and money. This DOES NOT apply to groups of numbers which are actually quite easy to predict. Therefore I play groups only and don't care about individual number performances at all. Just an advice from an amateur to a pro: make sure that your probabilities are really probable. Not unusually, improbables perform better than probables.
