Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?Reply
I wish there would a new Lottery drawing on Tuesday's and Friday's to replace Mega Millions for those of us who are only willing to shell out $1-$2 per ticket for a drawing. I currently get Fantasy 5 tickets and would rather throw that dollar at something that is at least a couple million after taxes. I guess I'll stick with Powerball and Super Lotto Plus until something changes.

You could do the same thing with Mega Millions for $3,120... Seems the only way to make a small fortune on the lottery is to start with a large fortune.

As far as I know, they do not advertise the size of the second tier prize. But, by looking at the size of the prize in the previous draw and whether or not it was won, it is easy to extrapolate the size of the prize. I do not think people usually buy Powerball or Mega Millions tickets based on the size of the second tier prize.

For today's Mega Millions, I'm highly confident it will come in ODD, ODD, EVEN, EVEN, EVEN, ODD. I've also seen the tens 00, 10, 30, 40, and 50 as good combinations, and the other 00, 10, 20, 30, and 40. For the Mega Ball, I think it should come from 10 and up and should be ODD. Md scratchers are horrible to. I switched from scratchers to pick 4 and 5. And won 2800.00 bucks. Tax free. My state has since started doing computer draws. I stopped buying once they switched. I just play powerball and Mega millions now. I pick the same numbers and play then all week. If the jackpot gets super high. I'll buy a couple extra tickets. But for the most part I spend 19 bucks a week on tickets.

Perhaps the Measly Millions jackpot will get more traction at the Half Billion mark ??? ...........Course, how long will it take to get to that point ?? 5 more draws ?? 6?? I was curious on previous draws, so I went back into the history books and I couldn't seem find a spot where the increases after 20 + rollovers triggered a 10 - 20% reduction on the next draw. I joined a pool and I only play the games the pool plays. The pool only plays games with big jackpots like Powerball and Mega Millions. Winning with the pool is about the same as winning a state game on you own except with much better odds.
