Poll - PB & MM vs a National Lottery
If should not be a matter of a State Vs Federal. Let's have both, and let the people decide. Some will decide to play their local state lottery, some will play the US Lotto, some will play both. And the vocal minority who are opposed to lotteries can choose not to play any! EVERYONE WILL BE HAPPY! As the Federal Government needs more revenue, and while a US lottery would not solve all it's financial woos, it would raise billions of dollars, the UK National Lottery has proven that. The whole c

UK National Lottery jackpot dwindling - Is it worth playing anymore?
Thanks for the advice, I think the Euro millions is probably a better choice for me now, I also haven't won a minimum prize on the UK National lottery since it changed over stakes/prizes and was previously quite lucky with the three number wins.

Euro Millions
Thanks, but link clearly states that for playing via internet, player should be a resident of UK, but nothing about buying the physical thicket while the non-resident player is legally visitinng UK! I have not seen any sign anywhere in UK's selling agents that indicates tourists visiting UK can't play . Wouldn't this consider a fraud by UK National Lottery to mislead the people to buy the thickets, but not pay the prize if they win?

WV house bill 4505... anonymously claiming jackpots
They should look at the UK National Lottery, it is the most successful lottery in the world. It raises billions of pounds for projects across the UK, all prizes are tax-free and winners have the right to remain anonymous. One of the most important decisions for new winners to make is whether to opt to go public or remain anonymous. If a winner decides to talk publicly about their win, Camelot s PR team will organise a press conference and handle all media interest on their behalf, removing th

Raising a staggering €4.5 billion
Are you sure it's legal for you to play in Ireland if you live in Australia? (Do you stll live in AUS or did you move home/have a second address in EIR?) I remember there being some issues with UK National Lottery players playing abroad using other options than previously set-up subscriptions. The lottery wouldn't honor their winnnings if they were in Malta, for example. Sadly I'm too far from any borders of participating countries or I'd dip in and out, at least during Superdraws, shouldn
