What is the tax situation in Puerto Rico?
That is for PowerBall but what about their own lottery; La loteria electronica de Puerto Rico. Do you think that one is also subjected to federal tax on top of the 20% Puertorican tax?

The $29.95 Non-Believerz
What math shows me with your most recent PB prediction post is this: Spend 18 x $2 = $36 Win 1 x $4 = $4 Profit/ Loss = -$32 Let me remind you that the goal (for most) in playing Powerball is to match 5 + 1. Using your as little as 44% claim, you need at best ~11 of 26 PB numbers, and you'll need at best ~30 of 69 main ball numbers. Now what? You need to full wheel those 30/11 number combos, so you spend 1,567,566 x $2 = $3,135,132. You're correct, the math don't lie! Only a

What's the most you have ever won at one time in the Lottery?
$400 on a Powerball with Powerplay. I played my wedding anniversary date and that won it for me. I'm doing that again and hope I have another winner!

Someone needs to console me now...
To those of us who buy only one ticket a drawing, you should read this news extract from the winner of the Oregon Powerball Jackpot. Before buying the Powerball ticket, Saephan said he wrote out each number between one and 69 on a piece of paper and slept with it for two weeks in hopes the winning number would come to him. He and Chao bought 20 tickets together, and Saephan got an additional 40 to 60 tickets for himself. On the morning of the drawing, Saephan said he woke up to a p

Lotto Jackpot Questions
Why play like that? There definitely are a couple of good reasons why players do it. Players in NY and Florida commonly play the same set of five numbers multiple times in their respective states Pick5 games. Because the jackpots are parimutuel (divided equally among all winners) a player can steal money from the other winners of the jackpot by playing the same set of numbers multiple times. The parimutuel-ness of the game can be tipped in one players favor. For instance - if the total

are there any system to predict fantasy 5.
Your question is way too vague. Are you trying to predict a computer (RNG-Rigged Numbers Game) system or are you trying to predict a ball drawn system? Nobody can answer this unless you are more specific! Using the U.S. powerball as an example there are 4 different ball sets and 4 different machines so right there you are looking for sixteen different patterns (without even trying just the powerball ball itself). On the input side of the machine the numbered balls each come out of t

Why do some people not check their tickets?
I always check mine too. Sometimes there's a delay in posting the numbers so I don't check them until the next day, but I always make a point to check them. There's a $50,000 Powerball that was bought at a store not far from my home that's about to expire. I never buy from that store so I know it isn't mine.

When is the right time to hang your lottery boots?
I been thinking of hanging it up myself. Been playing the same numbers for 20 years and nothing. Powerball draw my first and third number come out the rest where off between 1-3 numbers 'last nights draw'. And mega millions about '2 draws ago my first and second numbers come out'. I get the astromical odds but jeez. Throw a dog a bone every now and then. So now I'm on the fence of just stopping all together . Or if I keep playing. Do I switch my numbers that where already drawn to different ones
