If I would move... 1. Wyoming, South Dakota, Alaska Nevada WAS on the list at one time, but I sort of dropped it. Otherwise, stay in Wisconsin unless Scott Walker gets relected. Minnesota is back on the list. I've developed a liking for Hawaii, free fruit all year. Maybe the northeast. Cali was off the list, looking better now..... Maybe Australia, New Zealand, Canada My favorite piece of land is in wyoming. Tax is NOT the number one issue. I defferred my vote.

New State Lotteries - Who's Next?Reply
Some mountain states did this with the Wild Card 2. It's played in Idaho, Montana, and North and South Dakota. I actually thought Wyoming had it too, I was surprised that WY doesn't have a lottery. I bet they have a lot of people crossing the border to play in other states. Wonder why they don't want to keep that money for themselves?

Why doesn't Utah have a lottery...Reply
Small population,religion and conservatism are the three main reasons these states don't have a state lottery.Utah is comprised mostly of Mormans.Utah,Nevada,Wyoming North Dakota have small populations that probably couldn't support a lottery. Arkansas,Mississippi, Alabama are in the Bible belt.I'd be very surprised if any of these states,with the possible exception of Arkansas,get a state lottery anytime soon,if ever.

I doubt Alaska and Wyoming would bother starting up state lotteries if just for the fact that neither state really has enough people for it to generate much revenue and could possibly lose money. I think it's pretty obvious why it wouldn't happen in Utah and Nevada/Bizarro Utah's casino/gambling industry and its lobbyist wouldn't allow the potential competition. As for Alabama and Mississippi I don't know what their issue is but it might be similar to Utah's though I doubt it's as strong of an i

Judging by the comments, Arkansas has three strikes (no career opportunities/money, gambling industry ties, and religious issues) against it and as result will not get a lottery any time soon. It also looks like most of the other states without a lottery excluding Alaska and Wyoming are in the same boat. My new picks will be Florida joins Powerball and then Porto Rico joins Powerball.
