Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?Reply
I wish there would a new Lottery drawing on Tuesday's and Friday's to replace Mega Millions for those of us who are only willing to shell out $1-$2 per ticket for a drawing. I currently get Fantasy 5 tickets and would rather throw that dollar at something that is at least a couple million after taxes. I guess I'll stick with Powerball and Super Lotto Plus until something changes.

It's about a 2% chance any one digit won't be drawn that long. I put it at 0.18%. The probability of not drawing a particular digit is 0.9, so the chance of not drawing it in 3 tries is 0.9^3 is 0.729. To not do it in 20 drawings is 0.729^20 or 0.001797. That's about 1 in 556, so almost twice as likely as a single ticket winning the pick 3.

I've got a cake taker for you... Today I swung past that same local supermarket that had that $390 PB advance play ticket for sale. I wanted buy a few Florida Fantasy 5 ticket for tonight's drawing.
