I wouldn't buy 20 tickets for a drawing - it's a huge risk

Ohio lottery
Ohio lottery is cheating like heck. They keep bringing out the same # with one off the last # played. Wednesday evening p/5 was 66505 and today's midday# was 65654. So much for random drawing in Ohio. I hate this new computer pick drawing of #'s. Also, if it is so random then how can they stop taking bets on #'s if it is random drawing s. They stop taking bets on certain#'s after they make a million dollars on a number then they know it's not going to come out. This computerized picking is just

A six-figure prize in one drawing
By Kate Northrop
CHESAPEAKE, Va. A Virginia man was lucky 24 times in one drawing, with his Pick 4 number combination pulling off a $120,000 win.
It's common for the payout to be larger in Pick 4 drawings that yield numb

Pick 5 With Fireball Florida
If it worked like that, couldn't you play 00000, 11111, 33333 etc all the way up through 99999 on any given drawing? You know the Fireball's going to be one of 10 digits, so cover them all and have a winner every drawing off a $20 bet.
If it does work that way, I'm moving to Florida tomorrow.

Lottery Hanky Panky
In looking in to this...there are definitely some anomalies. I have a tendency not to play these big drawings anyway. Who wants to stand in line with all the amateurs (oh man, I always wait for the drawing to get to 500 million before I play !). Another thing I discovered is the lamentable state of programming on the web sites of several states to wit:
Ohio: couldn't pull up Saturday's drawing even though there is an option to do so. It only brings up the last drawing (Mon ). Tries 2 differe

How many combinations of the 4 patterns
Lots of new ideas on how to create simple number generators, but no ideas about the RNGs many state lotteries are now using. Even/odd or high/low from the last drawing can be used, but the odds of matching the winning numbers are exactly the same as any other random method. With live ball drawings, the best anyone could do is to compare drawing statistics to probability and look for a bias.
I personally know people that have won large ($100,000 plus) jackpots using systems if picking birthd
