I would say even more important than those things (although going to RNG cannot be topped for ineptitude) is the fact that when the heat started coming on strong, she ordered a $90,000 audit THAT DID NOT INCLUDE WHAT WENT WRONG. That is the coup de gr ce for me. It is utterly ridiculous, and the legislature thought so too. So they were forced to start their own investigation in addition to the $90,000 KPMG audit.

Joe, even though I'm now living in Florida (I'm a transplant from New York) I can tell you it's a thing that players in New York often play the previous draws numbers all the time, and they have been doing it for years. i happen to know someone who works for KPMG (the auditors of the illinois state lottery) and he says its all on the up and up. everything is tested, the balls are weighed before and after the drawings, the machines are tested etc etc. he said it was almost overkill how much security they take into account for this. i should ask about the raffle drawings tho - a lottery official told me a computer makes the selections - GREAT! why wouldnt they at least have the 4 million dollar winn

Apparently there were two separate auditors to check the drawings Smartplay International Inc. and Gaming Laboratories Inc., both of which are based in New Jersey (hmmmm....). I will now only spend the same amount once the Jackpots get to a level that I like. If they are not at that level, I will not buy tickets. I live in an area of Michigan that rarely ever sees winners.
