For me it would depend upon how much I won too. I've seen The Jackpot Winner's and Retailers Report and was shocked to see the winners name listed for the 1.58 million MM ticket sold in Atlantic Beach as they must have waived claiming pursuant to FS 24.051. I'm very surprised that their name hasn't been in the news. (If it has, I haven't seen it) There are a few other large jackpots (PB, MM, and Florida Lotto) that were won in August of 2023 that the winner did not waive FS 24.1051. Com

that's the name that will be recorded by the state lottery and who that state lottery will pay the claim to and your name will be entered into the public domain. Obviously checking with a lawyer as soon as you find out you've won is a very good idea, but one thing to do even before that is *not* sign the wrong name to the ticket.
