For what it's worth (maybe nothing), I played Pick3 around 20 years ago before it went to 4 draws a day. I did well on it by playing 1 number to repeat (123 played previously, I would pick one digit) from the previous draw and play it with 2 others boxed for $5, sometimes $10. I hit several times, once for $400. Alas, Texas got greedy and went to 4 draws a day. I also did well on AoL. I hit for $250 on it ($50 x 5), and often won $50.
