Colorado Lottery starts Mega Millions sales Sunday
Wow, you would think that you didn't play the lottery yourself. Aren't you a daily lottery player, who posts lots and lots of numbers in the Pick 3 forum every day? I have never heard something sarcastic or idiotic coming from the MUSL folks -- they have been some of the most straight-forward of any of the lottery reps out there. Mega Millions is not stuck on 12 million , but it does have a $12 million starting jackpot. In the first rollover it tends to rise to about $19 or $20 million. It

Cheated winner wants Texas Lottery to pay up
The grand jury answered the most important question when it ruled the ticket belonged to Willis. At this point it's not certain that Willis can sue the Texas Lottery Commission so using the McDonald's example is putting the cart before the horse. But if he can sue the evidence will be in his favor. The TLC owns the lottery terminals so anyone selling or cashing tickets is acting as their agent. A retailer would be the business where the terminals are located. I'm sure the TLC had complaint

Recent checks of Iowa Lottery retailers find no fraud
Security checks at lottery ticket sale locations at about 200 locations statewide in recent months have revealed no improper payments of prizes to or by store personnel, Iowa's lottery chief told a panel of state legislators last week. Terry Rich, chief executive officer of the Iowa Lottery, played up the safety and profitability of the lottery before members of the Legislature's Oversight Committee in the wake of an expansive report by Iowa's Ombudsman of State. The April report found the lo

New report criticizes Iowa Lottery security
The only problem that I ever had with the Iowa Lottery was with one of their retailers.I bought a $3 scratch off ticket from one of those machines and the machine took my money.Nobody at the retailer had the key to the machine so they couldn't open it up and retrieve my ticket for me and they refused to refund my money. When I got home I sent an email to the Iowa Lottery and complained about the retailers attitude. The Iowa Lottery sent me $3 worth of Lotto Bucks that could be redeemed at any Iowa

N.C. lawmaker critical of Gov's move to take lottery funds from schools
Hum, the 'trashcollectors for politician' may be a very good idea you've stumbled onto. These trashcollectors definitely know how to deal with garbage, without negotiating with it ... it simply goes in the hopper and then on to the next garbage bag. DAILY FOCUS IS KEY HERE. These folks definitely are reliable to work at least 8 hours a day for the companies they work for, and are already used to great benefits, good income, and competition for position. The only potential problem I see is that i

Pair arrested for stealing lottery tickets for 3 years
Although I worked for a corporation handling millions, when I moved here I got into retail. So regarding the $5.01, as good as I am in math, I still might use a small calculator. No matter where I've worked I always had a couple of cheap calculators even if I had to buy one. Usually it was because I wrote out an invoice with multiple items and had to add tax, but still, it only takes about 10 seconds to enter $5.01 minus $2.26 = $2.75. When you are working with money all day long and running aro

New York Lottery won't pay $25,000 for taped-up scratch-off ticket
UGH! John Gambling is T-H-E most BOOoooooooring guy on all of radio except for maybe whatshisname Bob Grant. I'd be willing to trade John Gambling taking a slow boat to China in exchange to allow computerized drawing in nj. I LIKE Mr. Kuby even though he's Liberal, at least he is INTERESTING and funny. Gambling says be that as it may and other dull lingo and rushes people to get to his grating commercials. And he's so obsessed about illegal immigration that he sounds like a closet racist. If t

FLASH: Tennessee Lottery audit won't investigate drawing errors
I work in a lottery store for TN. Believe me , not all the people know the information/news about this glitch. Nor do they even know that TN has changed the way they get the results. I cannot warn them because it will hurt sales. My friend, the boss, would lose profits. I want to yell... DONT PLAY until things change back. I have written my complaints to TN lottery. Of course no word back... DONT PLAY...
