Yeah, even the cheap-o Idaho lottery gave me a new ticket a while back. On Mega Monday you can buy a $5 mega millions and get a 2nd chance drawing voucher. My voucher didn't print. So I contacted them, they said someone forgot that it was Monday and didn't set the computers correctly, and they mailed me a voucher that when scanned popped out another $5 mega ticket. If Idaho can do it, then surely Wisconsin can find a way to make it right.

Here in Idaho each ticket has the code for the machine it was bought from. Albertson's has 2 vending machines plus a terminal at the customer service counter, and each has a different code. So when you do win and can't remember which store you purchased the ticket from, just go to each of your regular stores and buy a draw ticket (doesn't even have to be the same game) and look for numbers that match your winning ticket. Idaho has a string of 6 numbers, I imagine other states will have 6 - 8

I can't find it now on the Idaho website but they do have rules that makes the payout pari-mutuel for 2nd prize payouts for Powerball and MegaMillions to limit their losses like they do for Pick3 and Pick4. I would contact my state and find out if any pari-mutuel rules can be applied to the game I am playing before employing this strategy.
