Engineer reported bad Tenn. Lottery computerized draws
Tennessee Lottery was slow to act, even after repeated warnings from many players; many call for the return of real lottery drawings The Tennessee Lottery appears to have been slow to investigate reports of a major flaw in its new computerized drawing system, even in the face of multiple warnings from players. Lee Lemonds and his wife watch The Wheel of Fortune every night and because the lottery drawing comes on the same television station, they usually see it as well. It didn't take

Mississippi Lottery announces new Cash 4 game
I'm in Louisiana and I'm sure we've lost some lottery revenue due to Mississippi getting its own lottery. I've actually been tempted to drive across the border and buy some scratch off tickets. One cool thing they are doing with their scratch off tickets right now is they all have a second chance drawing for the same amount as the top prize and to get into the second chance drawing just enter losing tickets on their web site. They don't even have to be mailed in. I think that's pretty cool.

Michigan lottery winners could remain anonymous under House bill
--- We look at it as a step backward in terms of openness and transparency, Holyfield said. They are not interested in openness and transparency. Somewhere along the line the minimum rollover on the classic 47 game changed from $100,000 to $50,000 and there never was any announcement on the web site that it was going to happen. They also changed the web site and either took a whole lot of information off of it or made it a lot harder to access. Further, they don't clearly post the li

Pa. lawmaker wants to give lottery winners right to remain anonymous
I'm beginning to think I don't want to win the lottery, after all. Like if I win the $400+ million jackpot that's up now, it'd basically destroy my life. What good is money if you're constantly fearful for your safety or you can't get a moments rest from people looking for a hand out? I'd rather win the second prize, where you get a couple million, because those people don't generally have to do press conferences. Sure, they're put on the web site, but I doubt people are really seeking out a $1

Georgia man finds $1M lottery ticket in his truck
Well, that is sort of quasi the line from the Georgia Lottery, but there is nothing on their web site saying the do or don't let you do anon, however there have been winners in the past that have claimed anonymously with LLCs and trusts. It seems that it is good to get an attorney to deal with them on this point. I think as long as you don't ask, then they sure aren't going to tell you about it. But if you go about it the right way, it can be done. I'm assuming that this fellow didn't know. Prob
